"No, I'll find something," he finally insisted in a way more clearly. She wouldn't have any more say in the matter as he had to wonder if she really would show up in a barrel. As amusing as it might've been, that wasn't something he wanted to have himself associated with for a number of reasons. Just having her in general was bad enough.
He sighed again, quiet only long enough to get back to playing again. It was a start. It wasn't perfect, but it would do enough for him in the first playthrough. At least until she hit another chord she didn't recognize. Leaning forward to glance at the one she was on, he pushed her fingers properly to the strings just as before.
