"If I have to keep looking, then what was the point of-" Michel cut himself off with a frustrated huff, knowing that asking would really get him nowhere. And perhaps maybe if he really started painting enough he would see why the outline were useful. Maybe. He still seriously doubted that though. He didn't like it, but again he allowed her to guide him in fixing his strokes. He was at least making an effort to pay attention to what she was doing, and he had yet to really complain about her taking over his brush.
If anything, the man was making a mental list of questions as they went along just as much as voiced. Color was the easy part, but getting an object to look like an actual object wasn't so easy. And apparently he had been using too much paint. He paused when her hand tightened around his wrist, watching her as she returned to the floor. "Fine. I'll just watch you next time," he finally agreed in an displeased tone. That was likely the best agreement she would get out of him though. "I have to start somewhere and I don't think you know where that is. So, I'll just figure it out myself."
