Michel sighed heavily, not wanting to move on to the next object before finishing what he was doing with the skull. However, he messily starting filling color into the remaining objects. His problem was that he was definitely following his outlines then much more than he was actually looking at the objects laid out on the table. He hurried to put a little bit of something in everything.
"And what makes you," he started, still trying to block things in a pretty horrible manner, "so sure that the way you're doing it is the way it's supposed to be done?" It wasn't necessarily a challenging remark. And he was well aware that she had been taught by a genuine artist. However, he was more frustrated with how things were coming out on the canvas than he really was with her. The fact that it had originally looked like something so easy to do made it that much more frustrating when he couldn't just jump right into it. Just as well. There was, after all, a next lesson. "There's nothing really working about this."
