Michel couldn't argue with her. It was true. However, despite all of his criticisms and obvious callousness, he couldn't really say he disliked her. Though that was not something he would be letting on any time soon. "He didn't grow bored of you, he just found something more entertaining to do with you. He has a way of manipulating people to suit his whims." He doubted that Mobius needed to do much manipulating when it came to her, but Michel didn't see an issue in offering that information to her.
There was some relief in watching her clear her easel. It was one less thing to worry about. "Canvas," he started, stepping over and setting the canvas down on it, "brush, and paint." The list was vague and short, but he didn't see the need in getting very technical about it. He had two brushes, a bigger one and a smaller one. The paints he had tucked into a small bag were in several colors. However, most of them were older and they had certainly been used before. It seemed better getting secondhand materials than trying to stretch his budget on anything more. Especially not for a hobby he could just as easily give up on the first day he jumped into it.
Figuring that was all he really needed anyway, he looked at her for confirmation on that. If there was anything else, he assumed she would tell him then. There really wasn't much else that he was willing to obtain though.
