She wasn't used to feeling annoyed, and all she wanted was some fresh air and some time alone to... well, maybe stare at a wall uselessly for awhile, because she had expended most of her energy with their exchange. Michel opening the package was all the excuse she needed to get out of there, feeling she at least upheld her part of the bargain and not interested in testing her luck with Michel by sticking around far past her welcome (not that she was in the first place). Normally she might have felt compelled to remain just long enough to confirm the contents of the package for her own curiosity, but right now she didn't really care, only catching a brief glimpse of the knife on the table before she turned away, not thinking about its significance or what the note said that was causing him to laugh.
"Two," she responded shortly, taking her first couple steps toward leaving.
