Michel let out a loud sigh of disapproval before rolling his eyes. "Of course he said that." He had ranted to Mobius quite a bit on how he didn't like Mabelle living there or living in general. However, much to his annoyance, his uncle hadn't seemed to take him seriously. At least, he seemed much more amused by it than actual thoughtful, as he practically laughed off the notion. There wasn't much Michel could do than take revenge by finding and burning some of her own worldly possessions. And now Mobius had her delivering packages for him.
"You don't need to stay just because he said so. You can don't and say you did." He was at least going to be determined not to give Mobius the satisfaction of him going through with whatever was being planned now. He focused on his work, still trying to mostly ignore her presence to see if that would get her to leave. Though he couldn't entirely ignore her for the sake of the violin.
"It was sitting in someone's cellar with a cracked soundboard," he answered, confirming her statement by giving a bit more information. And, in his own way, he was still justifying taking it himself. Not that it concerned her.
