Who: Gwen and Orin When: Saturday, 9pm Where: Leaky What: Going out partying Rating: G Status: Incomplete
Gwen smiled at herself in the mirror as she applied her lipstick. She was looking forward to seeing Orin tonight. She knew very well that it was completely a waste of her time and effort to get all dolled up for Orin, who likely wouldn't notice if her head was on backward. It didn't matter that he meant so much more to her than any other male in the world, or that she really truly liked someone for things that went beyond looks, a first in her life. What mattered was that he still loved Bea and she simply wasn't good enough. Not now, not ever. As she leaned in toward the mirror and put the finishing touches on her lip gloss, Gwen pressed her lips together then pulled back and smiled. Perfect.
She wasn't getting dressed for Orin tonight though. Gwen was done making that mistake, over and over. Nothing in the world was going to make her good enough for any man let alone Orin. She'd accepted that. No, she was getting dolled up for herself. To make herself feel better, and to make all of those other drooling boys in the room wish they even had a chance with her. Dressed in a green, low cut draped dress with matching shoes, Gwen twirled once more in front of the mirror, examining every last angle of herself to make sure she hadn't missed anything.
Once she was dressed, Gwen grabbed her small purse, wand and made her way out of her flat before disapparating once she was outside of her front door. It took only seconds before Gwen arrived at the apparition section of Diagon Alley. Walking toward the Diagon exit, Gwendolyn made it through to the muggle side of the Alley. Stepping across the large cobblestones, Gwen entered the back of the leaky Cauldron and headed straight for the bar.
