We had art class today and we were supposed to draw pictures of our family and I told them that I needed lots of paper so that I could draw daddy and aunt valcarry and aunt peper and uncle Tony and Ethan and Morgan and James and nate and puppy happy and uncle Thor and Torunn and well you get it there is a lot of us

So then she said just to draw my dady so I drew a picture of dady when he is happy dady and when he is angry dady.




Angry dady is green like me and happy dady is going to give me ice cream and cookies.

That means you can have cookies or ice cream tonight and you can have the other one tomorrow because I am happy daddy but also a good daddy who doesn't want you running around on a sugar rush.

Just because lots of sugar doesn't make you crazy hyper doesn't mean it's good for you. We have to treat things like cookies and ice cream as treats or we might get sick.

Excuse me, that's Dr Sam.

And it's just correlation. People give kids sugar on special occasions as treats so they're excited anyway. Sometimes just getting a treat becomes a special occasion, but it's nothing to do with the sugar. It would be the same if it was an extra-special brussel sprout.

Yeah, some people think family is only your parents and siblings. But for other people their grandparents and aunts and cousins are just as important and they might all live together in the same house or really close to each other so they can help each other and see each other a lot.

That would be pretty cool.
