I won't speak for Buffy, but it doesn't bother me. She may have more of an issue if you refer to her too often as'the bird.'

There is something you need to know about me though. I'm a vampire, but the blood stored in the fridge isn't human.

A vampire. Alright. Dealt with aliens and the like. Not really that disarming. I'm a mutant, though I'd prefer you not make that public knowledge and I'll do you the same if you need.

Something like that.

I've mostly dealt with vampires, witches, and other sorts of demons, but I've seen mutant mentioned here and there. You generally possess some sort of specialized ability, right? No one will hear you're one from me. I'm not exactly hiding who I am, but I'm not advertising it either. A handful of people know.
