What's everyone's favourite animal? How come?

Very tricky, throwing in the reason too.

I like dogs. Mostly I think cause they're so loyal.

Dogs aren't really pets in Transia. There's strays and people have them for guards and things but I didn't really know there were cuddly ones until I came to the west.

They can be pretty good guards, yeah.

You thinking about getting a pet?

I have a snake that the Entity gave Hugo, and a pygmy puff. I don't have a favourite animal though.

The pygmy puffs are interesting.

Apparently they're smaller versions of puffskeins which haven't lived in the wild for maybe hundreds of years. They're just pets. People must really like fluffy things to keep them around that long when they don't catch mice or lay eggs or anything.

People tend to keep pets around for the company.

They're cute, they're funny, they're loyal, they love having a job to do. They're a little goofy, and I don't think that fits you entirely. I think you can be goofy, but I think it depends on your company.

Generally speaking.

What type of dog would you have, as a pet?

Don't know. I'm open. I'd have to get to know the dog first. See if we're compatible. Corgis are nice. Shiba Inus are little fox dogs. Samoyeds have that smile and are fluffy. Fluffy can be nice. I saw a breed called a sheepadoodle online, and they also look very soft.

I had to google most of them. I think you're right about the sheepadoodle. The samoyed's look like they'd be pretty friendly.

The internet lists friendly and playful among the common personality traits for them. It also says they have a decent life expectancy. And they have nice faces.

I'm torn.

I like sloths. They speak to me. Koala's too, even though they're riddled with chlamydia. And quokkas, because they look so happy.

I think the slow loris wins, though. They have a gland in their armpits that produces poison. And if they feel threatened, they'll lick it and coat their teeth in it. That's bad ass.

I would lose my mind over the fingernails. I lose it already at those slow loris videos when they're eating rice balls and don't have enough hands for all the rice balls.
