Vision used to say that leap days were an inelegant solution to an inelegant problem. She never did come up with anything better though.

Anyway, tomorrow doesn't really exist, so do something crazy that you normally wouldn't. It's science.

Get drunk and marry a whore since it won’t count on Sunday if you get married in a day that only exists conditionally. Got it.

I mean, as long as the whore knows what's up.

Oh of course. The whore will know going into it what it is. Every chance to say no, let’s just take a tumble only. And I’ll respect the decision if that’s how things go.

Sounds like all you need to do is find one then.

Might already know where to find several.

that's not a nice way to talk about someone!

I know. I really shouldn't talk about marrying someone unless I truly mean it. In terms of the "w" word, I've known several people who prefer it to alternatives. We'll leave it at that, though.

[Tia]

I'm not having a very good day, and I'm sorry if I upset you.

no one should ever be called any names like that.

The funny thing is

[Tia]

I didn't mean to, and I hope you'll forgive me. It's hard to explain, mostly because I'm not sure how to explain. But it happens from time to time. How have you been, by the way?

Thank you. It isn't, but I'll manage. I always do. It's definitely a lot better than other things. Interesting to explore. Have you eaten a lot of candy?

I can't make promises for other people, you'd have to ask the guardians about that.

Exactly that one. Though the Entity's kind of ruining it for those of us without cosmic supernatural reality-bending powers.

There's that, sure. But it's giving you candy so it can't be all bad, Sam.

Candy. Yeah. Everyone else gets I also don't have a cosmic supernatural metabolism.

I have put some away for later though.

I won't lie and pretend I'm not taking full advantage.

Smart move. Let's grab dinner some time this week. Nothing involving candy.

Don't forget the one about how the early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese. That's a good life lesson, too.

They also prefer chocolate and bacon. And if you give a mouse a cookie, he's going to ask for a glass of milk, so don't do that unless you want a new little friend. Just give him his chocolate covered bacon and send him on his way. And remind him that the first mouse is the warning. He should tell his friends to find a new place to hang out.

The third cat gets the canary. The other two cats ate all the cat food. Bye bye, birdie.

Is this the same bird that got the worm? Cause that seems like a vicious circle, but also appropriate.
