I've checked the network, but I wouldn't even know where to begin. I know people have commented that it's a lot like New York, but different.

I grew up in Brooklyn, but it's been a long time since I've toured modern Manhattan. I couldn't get past the Brooklyn Bridge when I tried leaving.

I've only visited London a few times, but unfortunately, they weren't instances where I was able to do a lot of exploring. Manhattan is alright. It's no Brooklyn or Queens, but it's still better than most everywhere else.

Travel was part of my [...] job description, but it's not something I was able to do for pleasure very often. Even if this isn't the real Manhattan, there seems to be enough of a resemblance to get a good feel for it.

I'm a Healer, so I'm usually stuck in the same building on the same floor throughout the day. The school I went to was in Scotland, so I guess I should say that I didn't often leave the UK.

They have a gorgeous flower shop that I found. And there are places where I can buy different herbs and plants I wouldn't expect to. It'll make it easier to stock up on supplies.

A Healer? Yeah, I can imagine you'd be needed a lot helping patients. Maybe here you'll be able to explore more even if it's only on the island.

It's so strange to talk about, if I'm being honest. I'm a witch and in my world, we don't often mingle with muggles. If we do, there's only a few reasons why they would know about magic.

I guess if we're here for a while, I'll have plenty of opportunities.

Sorry, what exactly is a muggle? I've seen people with abilities or magic of some kind, but it sounds different than what you probably mean.

Not that there's anything wrong with muggles! My mother was muggleborn, it means she's a witch born from muggle parents. Our world is just kept hidden from non-magical folk.
