It's summer, it's that weird gross only New York brand of hot, it's after the Fourth...

and here we are with no baseball.

Y'think the Jubilant Entity would let us get as far as Citi Field for the Mets game tomorrow? I could use a lukewarm watery beer and a sub-par hotdog. Honestly, I could use something to make being stuck in this particular city a little more bearable in general.

In lieu of that, I used to coach ball between deployments and if there was a patch of grass somewhere big enough to knock one around, I might not be averse to throwing together a couple of teams for fun.

[EDIT] As it turns out I have ten eight seven tickets to the Mets game tomorrow night so speak up. I'll buy the first round of drinks.

[EDIT2] One ticket left. Barnes? The Parker kid said you might be interested. We're heading out at 4.

Well, since Gabriel isn't here to tell me to stop doing miracles, there is no longer a limit to the amount of miracles I can perform. So, if you do change your mind, do feel free to let me know.

Can you miracle my boyfriend's skincare regimen into our bathroom so he'll stop stealing it from Neiman Marcus? That's gotta be half a good deed at least.

Of course, just leave me a list and I'll sort it.

I don't need a lot.

Just a bottle of Armani Crema Nera Extreme Balancing Oil in Gel Cleanser, a tube of Armani Crema Nera Extreme Foam in Cream Cleanser, a bottle of Sisley-Paris Phyto-Blanc lightening toner, a jar of Crème de la Mer, La Prairie Cellular Swiss Ice Crystal Transforming Cream Sunscreen SPF 30 in Warm Linen, a tube of Le Metier de Beaute Rejuvenating Anti-Aging Hand Crème with SPF 50, a bottle of Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Night Oil, a jar of Sisley-Paris Black Rose Skin Infusion Cream, a jar of Oribe Balmessence Lip Treatment, a tube of Chanel Le Lift Skin Recovery Sleep Mask, and a jar of Guerlain Orchideé Impériale Mask.

That seems like less than I packed when you were in the hospital...

These are just the bare necessities.

And I didn't include any hair or body products except for the hand creme.

That'd explain it. Still only know what half of it is for, but whatever you need, Billy boy.

Well, the oil cleanse breaks down the sunscreen so that it comes off fully for the foam cleanse to work. Toner prepares the skin for treatments such as the night oil which is a chemical exfoliant so it removes dead skin cells and encourages new growth. The infusion cream which helps encourage elasticity that depletes with age.

You know what a moisturizer is, but a night mask like the Chanel goes over it to seal it in while you sleep. That helps absorb the product more fully. Then the lip mask is a more moisturizing lip balm. I could do a separate eye cream but I don’t find my moisturizer to irritate my eyes. And, of course, I like a separate SPF for my hands because the hands really give away someone’s age.

Makes sense. Your hands look great, for what it's worth. So whatever you're doing, something in there must be working.

I could show you just how good a manicure feels if you're not scared to lose those calluses.

Nah, it's just my hands are 90% callous at this point and if you removed all of them I wouldn't have hands left.

Wouldn't want them to lose all the roughness, anyway.

It's part of the charm.
