I'm too tired to tell if you're mocking our relationships or talking specifically and only about your own. I assume the latter, but

I think in terms of advice on meeting someone, a lot of the advice has been good. And a general consensus of "go out there and do things," so that's probably decent advice. Makes the most sense.

Astral projection? Psychic mind link? Random ad in a newspaper or online? Stand somewhere and hope people approach first and can read your mind and intentions to know what you want and hope they make good assumptions? Add a sign while doing that that says, "Free to a good home. Smashing bits a bonus. No scrubs, though."

I was engaged once. He went off to do research on another planet about two weeks after he asked me. Got kidnapped by Cyborgs and made himself a hot Cyborg girlfriend. So I am of no help.

And then we found him and he tried to possess Jim Kirk to take over the ship and his hot Cyborg girlfriend self destructed them both.

This is why I hate dating.
