Sukkot starts tonight! For those that don't know Sukkot celebrates the gathering of the harvest and commemorates the miraculous protection He provided for the children of Israel when they left Egypt. We celebrate Sukkot by dwelling in a foliage-covered booth (known as a sukkah), which brings me to the point of this post. Klaus and I have made a rather sizable sukkah on the roof, and I would appreciate if no one would… move or vandalize the dwelling. If you are curious, I would invite you all to ask questions, or join us if we are up there.
[Hargreeves and Darcy Lewis]
I have made our sukkah large enough to accommodate all of you, and I would like to invite you to dinner tomorrow night.
This is a holy time for me, but I won't ask you to participate in my traditions or prayers, but the offer stands if you are curious. I will start Sukkot traditions and prayers at six.
I will have dinner at seven. If you only show up for dinner, I will not be offended. It would mean a lot if you would join Klaus and I for our meal.
