Message to James Rogers
Hey. How are you doing? I just heard that your dad, Steve is gone. I have no idea what you like to do when you're frustrated or upset or whatever you are right now. I'd offer you a cup of coffee but you don't drink it do you? Do you want to go hit things which is what I generally do. Or if you don't want to do anything, that's fine too. I just wanted to say I'm sorry and let you know I'm thinking about you.

Yeah, I hit things. Just not people, because it's one of those perks of this super soldier serum I've got coursing through my veins, that they'd just die, and I'm kind of through with having to kill people right now?

I usually drink tea.

I shouldn't be this angry or sad about him leaving, but this version of Steve is gone forever and I don't really know what to do with that other than hit things.

Hitting things is better than people. Less likely to get you arrested too. Especially with having super strength.

No, it's okay. You got to know him so of course you're going to miss him. And if he comes back, he might not remember being here and you have to start over. It's a lot to think about.

So I've heard.

But I didn't know him. He talked to other people more than he did to me. And everyone hates me and I just really need to go home And we're never going to have this Steve again. Any other Steve, but not this one. Not the Steve who found out that he was a groomsman, or dealt with those demented ass creatures. Everyone's like, a work in progress, always.

Life is always a work in progress, you're right about that. And it's not always a good time.

I guess he was as surprised as I was to find out that you existed. I know I dropped the ball but I'd expect you to identify more with him than me. But if another Steve does show up, look at it this way, maybee you can get to know him better and that would be good.

No, I don't imagine so. In my world, that was part of how they trained us so that we could go undercover. And the whole dance school was a cover for what they were really doing.
