So far it looks like we're all about as confused as each other, so let's see if we can pool our information here, get an idea of the lay of things. As far as I can tell this place looks a lot like New York, but it's missing some of the elements of the New York I know. Can't seem to get through to anyone local on standard military radio channels either.

My name's Sam Wilson. If anyone needs medical attention I have some basic supplies at the address on these letters, but if anyone has more they could contribute that'd be great. Does anyone need anything else?

Good news, we're still on Earth. Bad news is it's on a different frequency than the Earth I know. More good news, it's stable. It's not about to collapse on us at any point in time as far as I can see, bad news is we can't leave but there's about a 92% chance things can knock on our proverbial back door. Maybe 97%. Things are a bit wobbly, but otherwise stable as far as I can tell.

That sounds pretty similar to what I was thinking. My universe was... facing an existential threat, let's say. Seems plausible it might have led to something drastic happening.

Must be. I saw you mention being a doctor. The Sam that I know isn't a doctor, he does counseling but he's not a medical doctor.

I have no idea who the Liberators are, I definitely didn't kill Jarvis and the last thing I would ever do is something that would hurt Clint and his family. I'd kill myself first.
