KLAUS' BEDROOM, FIRST FLOOR OF OSTRICH VILLAS.

(The recording opens to Klaus' bedroom, which is currently a mess of fantastically depressive proportions - the window is ajar and briefly reveals an ashtray on the window ledge. Clothes are strewn all over the floor. Two paintings - one in an semi-abstract style of an old man with a monocle, the other barely blocked out in shades of green - lean against the floor, but his art supplies are neatly tucked away on top his dresser, and his bed's made at least. Eagle-eyed viewers may spot sigils in the mess of scribbles and drawings that are now his walls. His crutches are near the door, leaning up against his dresser. With effort, he slowly hops to the door, and then pushes it open. There are plenty of ghosts in the living room, and Klaus chuckles at the sight.)

KLAUS: Yeah. What'cha gon' do now.

( One of them - white, in their late twenties, covered in blood and somehow it's abundantly clear he was or is the bad boy in both life and death - lurches at him, but is stopped by an invisible barrier. Klaus makes a raspberry sound, and then sticks out his middle finger at him. The camera cuts out a second later.)
