Actually, reindeer only have their bottom row of teeth and it's actually really hard for them to eat carrots. Plus beta-carotene isn't naturally found in their artic diet, so that might make it hard for them to digest. They typically eat things like lichen, grass and mushrooms. Which is you know gross cause it's basically all mold.
