Magic Users + Supernaturals/Supernaturally Durable Peeps

Draco and I were talking about something and we want to test a theory.

For those of you who don't know this, his world plays a sport called Quidditch on magical flying brooms. He has the equipment for us to play here, but we aren't sure if the brooms can be flown by someone who can't access magic. The hope is that we can figure out a way to charm them so that anyone can fly them, but we don't want to just let a bunch of people ride them without running some tests to make sure it will be safe. Well, safe-ish, because it's definitely a dangerous sport.

What I'm asking for is some volunteers of the "I can heal myself" variety. Whether it's magic, biology or something else, we'd like to have some people testing this for us who will survive a fall off a broom if it doesn't work they way we hope it will.

Fellow magic users, I have a feeling this is a project where a little cooperative magic could be helpful, so if we're going to make this work, I think Draco and I could use your help, too.

Any takers?

Sure, but there's always a chance the broom would knock them into a wall, a tree, whatever else.

And you couldn't make those soft and or bouncy or just... set up a perimeter where people couldn't go past?

I'm not sure that's how physics works and I wouldn't trust it to work without testing, either way.

And here I was thinking we were discussing magic.

They aren't exactly unrelated.

Except that magic is the alteration to defy the laws of physics. At least, that's how mine typically works. What with my teleporting and all. Since that's not how physics works.

Our magic is different. Magic and science are intertwined. Without a strong grasp on physics, we wouldn't be able to cast. Magic can also be unpredictable,so I'm not about to risk someone else's well-being on an untested theory.

Except... that's... what you're asking for.

Whatever. Take your time. Play with your science. I'll be over here. Being an actual witch.

No, I'm asking for people who can't physically get hurt to help us test it until we know it's relatively safe for people who can.

If you don't like it, no one's forcing you to help.

Healing oneself, and not being physically hurt, are not the same thing. To heal oneself, one must first be hurt. Most people still feel pain. If I stab a werewolf, he's still going to feel it. It'll just be sore for less time.

Oh, there was a second I considered helping, because I'm bored, but then it passed, and now I'm just amused at how difficult you all make things for yourselves, even with magic.
