Were you close to him? I know you're friends with future her but I don't know how all of this works so I'm just going to be over here pretending I know how to be supportive right now.

Not super close, no. Even back home, we never really interacted with the parental sorts. Mostly because mine was an asshole, Cassie's Step-Dad would have had an aneurysm before arresting us, and Eli's grandfather is...a story in itself.

Scott was also kind of dead for a while, too. Until he wasn't, which is lots of timeline traveling and jumping and...god, I really hate Nate for screwing with it too much.

Uh, Nate was a teammate. Iron Lad, who was...is?...Kang the Conqueror. Heard of him? I hope not. He's an asshole.

But Cassie always adored her Dad. The man took her on adventures and pretty much cured her heart condition. Well, Pym particles did, but without Scott, she wouldn't have gotten them.

I'm pretty sure this Cassie hasn't had to deal with any of that, but it's Cassie.

Her and Billy are pretty much family no matter what dimension or universe we're in. And I owe Cassie a lifetime and a half. She deserves a happy life somewhere.

I feel bad for the kid. It's hard enough losing people here when it's just a friend. Or you're an adult. But, you know. She's a kid. And it's her dad.

I've never heard of a Kang the Conqueror and I'm not sure I want to. I assume he didn't get his name from Tony? Or is there an alternate dimension tiny evil Tony running around?

I'm sorry. I honestly don't know what I'd do if a young version of Foggy showed up and didn't even know me. Or Karen. That would just...really suck.

No Evil Tony that I know of, thankfully. Just Tony Stark who, at one time, I really didn't like. Really wanted to punch. Was part of the cause behind a nasty war between super-powered and non-powered heroes.

He redeemed himself, though. Just made me really not like Carol Danvers in the process.

...We have a lot of inter-team wars in my world for whatever reason. Intergalactic pissing contests if you ask me.

You say that, but you'd coddle them just like I do with Cassie and Billy now. Protect them like your life depended on it, which sometimes it does.

Don't be sorry, though! I mean, I appreciate it, of course. It's sweet. They're here in some form which is better than not at all.

I think almost everyone who's lived in a world with him has wanted to punch Tony Stark at least once. He seems better here, or maybe its just getting to know him versus his public image. But I also understand my Tony is different from yours.

Boy I'm sure glad interteam wars never happen in my world. You can't see me, but I'm making a skeptical face.

I'm honestly trying to imagine little Foggy descending on this place. He was probably just the same, but smaller. Then again, yours come from different worlds and with my luck I'd get miniature super-powered Foggy.

Sadly, I don't think I've had the pleasure of meeting Foggy from my world. Which is a shame because he sounds pretty cool. 10 out of 10 Best Friend Material and all.

Daredevil? I've had a few run-ins with him. Mostly good. No one was punched, so that's always a positive sign. Actually, maybe Clint was, but he always deserves it.

There was that time that Iron Fist decided to play Daredevil, which wasn't so hot for him since he ended up arrested. That was Messy Times Part One section seven thousand, though.
