A lot has happened in such a short period of time and I fear that I have failed to check in on you properly.

It does seem like periods of still are followed by intense periods of chaos. Although at least, this time, not bad chaos.

I am well, however. And yourself?

It is unsettling, the unpredictability of this place, and yet still preferable to home...for me at least.

I am well. Enjoying this period of still before the next bit of chaos.

It would be difficult to reasonably find home preferable in your case, Margaery. Unless Lord Suffolk was in need of some reminding on manners, I think even space would be preferable.

Apparently, that is called 'a jinx'.

I can not argue with you, although I did not find space horrible. How are you feeling about being here now that we've seemed to settle?

I've heard this expression! Usually followed by "you owe me a coke".

It was horrendous, I felt like I was living inside a crypt. I must admit that, aside from the adjustments made, I am finding it... liberating.

The bubbling drink. I'm not overly fond of that. It always seems to mean a different thing too.

Oh? I would love nothing more than to hear of this liberation.

I do not care for it much nor do I care for how confusing some things can still be- like "coke" meaning something different. One of the only things I do not find confusing albeit delightful in this realm is the fashions.

The lack of responsibilities is refreshing. No one requires our soldiers, there are no calls for aid. Some mornings I can lay past daybreak with the pack. It's very enjoyable.

It does seem the more you learn there are still a great many more things to learn. Some of which contradict what you've just learned. Which is frustrating. Yes, Lady Diana assisted in updating my garments. A wise choice given our recent tropical alteration likely would not have gone well with my furs.

I do not know of anyone more deserving of a reprieve from their responsibilities and some semblance of peace.

It seems neverending does it not? It is very fortunate that we are exceptionally adaptable. Perhaps we should go and visit the shops together? I have become quite proficient at navigating them.

I do not imagine your furs would have been very enjoyable during our recent change of scenery. Did the pack enjoy the beaches?

As I don't know of someone more deserving of another chance, a better chance.

I heard you were very good at navigating the pathways in Kings Landing too. I would like that very much. Perhaps we could see if there were trinkets to decorate with.

I would still be carrying half the sand with me. Northerners aren't built for Dornish weather. They did, although I fear their hunting instinct has been revived.

Let us appreciate our chance here for as long as we have it.

I was quite fond of those pathways. Perhaps one of the only true treasures in Kings Landing. We shall go then. I have seen a few that appeared to have decorative trinkets but have yet to explore those particular shops. It will be nice to explore them together.

I've always admired how Northerners can withstand the coldest of temperatures. I am afraid I am not built for such weather. Have you taken them to the peculiarly out-of-place forest? Perhaps they could quell their desire to hunt amongst those trees?

Yes, brightening some places up with personal touches would be nice. I have to locate something called a baseball cap.

It's the furs that make it, we're very good at bundling up in layers. Adapting to Kings Landing took a term. Indeed, they do enjoy hunting one another while I read, of course Lady keeps me company. But I am convinced they will now climb the trees.

Is there any particular reason you must locate a baseball cap?

Imagine the fright they could give people if they climbed trees? It could be quite amusing.

They are worn to support teams during baseball games. They are also used to keep the sun out of your face.

Yes, it could be quite amusing, until someone needs to work out how to get Shaggy Dog or Summer out of the trees. The squirrel population may never recover.

Have you been to one of these baseball games?

I am sure there would be someone who could devise a way to get them out of the trees. The squirrels however are an entirely different issue.

Yes, they have them in the park sometimes, a league they're called. It's rather interesting. Sportsmanship without much bloodshed.

I think they'd prefer not to be subjected to the magic users of this world though. Small chew toys for many of them really, I do worry that they won't be content with their meals at some point.

Without much bloodshed? That is certainly new. Maybe I'll accompany you to one of these games.

I think there are a great many of us who would prefer not to be subjected to the magic users of this world. That is a perfectly logical worry. I wonder what can be done if one day they tire of their current meals?

I was most surprised also, but it's rather interesting. It would be lovely of you to join us me.

There is a great many of them, although none who seem as dedicated to perverting magic or science as those from our own lands. It may be something to think on, eventually. Although they seem content at the moment.
