Who: Dominique Wealsey and OPEN to any and all takers
When: Saturday evening
Where: Outside the apartments
What: She's feeling a little unsettled her first night
Warnings: TBD but most likely none

Her shoes scuffed softly as Dominique kicked at the pavement underneath them. She knew she should be processing her thoughts and making sense of them all, but Dominique wanted to just be for a while. When she was younger, she would sit on the shores surrounding Shell Cottage and just kick at the sand or just sit and watch the waves carry the little dunes out to see only to deposit them back. If she listened hard enough, she could almost hear the rhythmic crashing of the waves she found herself thinking of.

At the sound of someone else approaching, Dominique kept kicking at the pavement wondering if it was going to snow. It was certainly cold enough to snow. It never snowed in the south of France. Going home for Christmas was always a shock in the sense Dominique kind of forgot other people had snow at Christmas time.

"If you're looking for company, I am afraid I am not in much of a mood for entertaining today," Dominique told the person without looking up to see who had stooped beside the bench she was sitting on. Part of her wanted them to stay and another big part of her hoped they didn't stick around too much.
