"I can't wait for Issue 2." That comic was one of her most cherished possessions. She didn't think she would ever put into words what it meant to her. "It's a good thing we both like a challenge then," she teased with a scrunch of her nose.
"Leave it to you to turn what I consider one of my flaws into something practical." Morgan laughed, her movements slow as they scaled the building. She didn't want to fall again, despite her safety net. "Totally ruined the magic," she teased. In reality, however, he hadn't spoiled it. If anything, it just served to fascinate her more. Markus was a beautiful creation.
"I knew I was an incredible teacher." She laughed again and curbed the impulse to reach out and touch him. Although they were both happy with their respective views and distractions, she didn't need to add more to the equation- at least not when they were suspended hundreds of feet above the ground. Morgan could see how conflicted he was, and she began climbing again. "To the top, we go." Perhaps she was hoping he would want to finish the climb. It would be quite an achievement for her.
