Who: Morgan and Tony (AND Open to Ironfam to jump in!)
What: Wedding fun times!
When: At the reception
Warnings: Nah
Status: Threading

Morgan was so incredibly happy for her parents. The ceremony itself was beautiful, and she may have shed a few tears. She could recall as a child, looking through photos of the two of them on their wedding day, and she never dreamed in a million years that she would be able to witness it.

Everything about it could be summed up with one word; perfect. That wasn’t a word she had used much before coming to Goodland, but she found herself saying it quite a lot now. Morgan wasn’t one to romanticize, but this place? Well, it was changing that.

Morgan told her mother a million times that she was the most beautiful bride she had ever seen, but she still told her once more as she leaned in to kiss her cheek before turning to her father. "And you clean up pretty nicely." Grinning, she winked, then held out her hand. "Want to dance?"

Tony couldn't believe the day arrived. It was years in the making and something he scarcely believed would actually happen to him. It was good. Too good. Yet, she said yes. Pepper married him surrounded by their loved ones and now they were ready to dance the night away. Tony and Pepper threw a hell of a party, after all. He kissed Pepper one more time before accepting his daughter's hand. "Nothing could make this day more perfect," he replied. He squeezed the hand he held and smiled in a way reserved only for those he loved most. "You look pretty good yourself, beautiful."

Morgan smiled as she led him to the dance floor, giving his hand a return squeeze. "Why, thank you, Idea Man." She hadn't ever really been opposed to dressing up, she just rarely had reason to do so. Everyone looked beautiful, though, and she was thankful for the fact that their bridesmaid dresses didn't seem to follow the dreaded 'awful' curse that she had heard of. Not that she would have protested, because she would have worn anything her mother wanted her to.

"I'm so happy for you and mom."

"Me too," Tony confessed. "I'm almost afraid I'm dreaming." He took her into his arms and swayed gently. Life was finally something worth living. He had Pepper, he had his kids, and he had his friends. Nothing else mattered so long as they remained together. "Marcus is damn lucky," he added. "Look at you. So grown up, honey." Other parents might have been concerned about their kid seeing an android, but Tony understood how human they could become. Maybe, for some, too human. He couldn't help thinking of Vision, who should have been there that day. He gave his life for the greater good and for those he loved. There was no recreating Vision, AI or not. He was unique, just like any human.

"Do you want me to pinch you to assure you that you are in fact awake," she asked with a laugh- swaying with the music. It was so good to see both of her parents this happy. Morgan never thought she would get the chance to experience both of them together again, and she would be eternally grateful to the Entity for allowing all of them the opportunity to be together. "No, see, I'm the lucky one in that department." Leaning up, she kissed his cheek and then laid her head on his shoulder. "But thank you." Having his and Pepper's support when it came to her relationship with the android meant more than either of them would ever know. She was happy for so many reasons, and Markus was one of the biggest reasons.

Tony raised his eyebrows. Nope, Markus was lucky. Sure, Tony liked the android, but he was totally and completely biased. HIs daughter was perfect. Obviously.

He merely grinned and shook his head before squeezing her tightly in the middle of the dance floor. "At least you aren't embarrassed by me yet," he pointed out as he released and went back to swaying.

Morgan returned his tight squeeze and lifted her head to laugh a little. "Keyword: yet," she teased. In reality, she was pretty sure that she wouldn't ever be embarrassed by him. Even his Dad speech to Markus hadn't really done that, even though her heavy sighs implied otherwise. Her dad was perfect in her eyes.

"So, old man. What comes next, now that you've gotten to the happily ever after part of your fairytale?"

He rolled his eyes. "I'll do my best to get to the embarrassing dad deal sooner than later." He couldn't help marveling at how grown up his little girl looked in her maid of honor dress. He felt, truthfully, overcome with emotion and pride about so many things just then, but he swallowed back the wave of sentiment to give her a quizzical look. "The entity granted me a wish," he told Morgan. "Your mom and I get to honeymoon for the weekend." He shrugged. "And we are still off for another week. After that, business as usual."

"Oh please take your time. Take all the time you need," she said with another laugh. Morgan's heart was so full. One day she would tell him just how much it meant to her to be here for all of this, and how she never wanted to go back to her prior life. Sure, her younger self had spilled the beans, but she wanted him to hear it from her. But for now, she would enjoy this dance. "Good," she replied pointedly. "I was hoping you were going to say that you and Mom got to have some kind of Honeymoon here."

"I wish I could do more for her," he admitted, "but this will have to do. At least we are together." He hugged Morgan tightly as the music gave way to a faster tune. "Just don't get into any trouble without us," he teased, now raising his voice to be heard above the poppy tune playing. He released her. "Now, go find the youngins. Have some fun."
