Max and Liz found a place to eat breakfast near the apartments then they started their day of adventures. Thanks to the AI that Tony had shown her, they were at their first destination within minutes; The Statue of Liberty. Liz reached out to hold his hand as they walked, her eyes looking up at Lady Liberty. She figured with their conversation in the desert and their decision to kiss all around New York City, that hand-holding was the next logical step in what was brewing between them. They were definitely no longer just friends and lab partners. They were more and Liz was excited to see where the two of them could go. "She's amazing" She said in awe.

	"She really is," Max agreed. He looked up toward the statues head. It was definitely impressive. More so than he'd ever imagined. But it was hard to get a feel for the reality of something when all you ever saw was just pictures. "But she pales in comparison to you." Max was a romantic sap, and he wasn't even going to try to reign it in. (Reply to this) (Thread)

She opened her mouth to say something about her being so much bigger than she ever imagined but she nothing came out as she turned towards him. "You always know what to say to make me feel special" She replied with a smile. Seconds later, she got a curious look on her face. "Rosa mentioned to me that you've been making moon eyes at my our entire lives. When did you first know you liked me?"

	"I don't know." Max looked thoughtful for a moment. "But it was early on. Like when I first met you." He shrugged. "I've always known I liked you," he admitted. There was no reason to lie about it. Liz looked up at him and listened to him as he answered her question, a look of awe on her face before she smiled softly. "You knew even when we were seven?" She asked, thinking about the first time she met him. They were both shy and didn't talk much so they just bonded over the music playing from her ear buds that she shared with him. It was the start of a great friendship that she cherished so much.

"I realized it a bit later than that" She told him with a small laugh. "It was when I start feeling unsure about Kyle and being with him that I saw you in a different light. And that night at Prom in the gazebo ... that really changed everything for me" Taking a step closer to him, she let go of his hand and wrapped hers around him. "I really like you, Max Evans"
