Morgan couldn't help but smile as he overanalyzed her words. Something about it was incredibly endearing. "I've thought this about you for quite some time, you know. I guess maybe that's part of what drew me to you? Your old soul that feels strangely right." Sure, there were several other things that made her want to be a part of his life, but she could divulge those little pieces of her heart as their time together went on.
She sighed happily, tightening her arms around him. "Didn't I tell you we would make sure all the parts of this dream would retain their perfect status," she asked softly as his nose brushed against hers. Morgan barely registered that he was talking to the clerk. She was too caught up in the way Markus was causing her heart to flutter. "Yeah," she murmured, moving one of her hands to rest against his cheek to turn his head back her way. "We'll take it." With that, she closed the tiny bit of space between them and pressed her lips to his gently. It was something she had wanted to do since he confessed that he needed her in his life.
