"See? Better than a puppy," she teased. Morgan loved to see Markus happy like this, especially after sharing a handful of melancholic moments with him. She found herself never wanting to see him sad and wanting to be the one to bring him joy. She wasn't delusional, she knew that the troubled times in life were inevitable, but that didn't mean she couldn't provide as many blissful moments as possible.
Morgan smiled brighter as he gasped and looked up to meet his eyes. "The classics seem very you," she replied with a tilt of her head as if to consider it further.
