Michael shook his head. "No. No hospital, no doctors," he said with a firm, no room for argument tone. "I'll wrap it and it will be fine." He couldn't tell Alex why he was so adamant, but going to a doctor was not a good idea. At all.
He had no idea if his blood or anything else would send up a red flag, but he assumed it would. And if anyone found out he wasn't exactly human...well. He'd heard stories about alien experiments. He didn't want any part of that.
He reached up, with his good hand, and stroked his fingers against Alex's jawline. "I'm okay, Alex. I promise. It's fine."
