Betty was grateful for the reprieve from their grounding, though she was doubtful it would continue past the time that Goodland was a winter wonderland. She didn't have the energy to protest how unfair the fact that they were grounded was when FP had informed them they could leave the cabin, but she was definitely of the opinion that she had been wronged. It had been wrong to go into the maze, but her mother was overreacting. A day of grounding would have been sufficient.
Still it was nice that she and Jughead had been allowed to vacate the premises.
"What did you want to do, Juggie?" Betty asked him, and she leaned against him. "Did you want to go for a walk, maybe?"
