WHO: Brooke & Liz
WHERE: in the maze
WHEN: {backdated} 1st days ish of the maze
WHAT: Brooke and Liz run into each other -literally
WARNINGS/SPOILERS: PG13ish due to content
STATUS: on going (backdated because Squid's work life is a mess)

This had to be one of the few times that Brooke was glad she wasn't wearing heels all the time. She'd been getting ready for class, had nothing in her hand save her keychain and this was where she ended up? She hated these cliche Halloween tropes now. Like all of October could kiss her ass basically, screw scare night, screw horror films, screw everything to do with this spooky bullshit.

It was annoyingly weird and creepy, she didn't have her phone or anyway to get a hold of someone, nothing but this keychain and her kitty defence duster. Honestly, she hated this already.

Every noise had her on edge, like the whole of last year was just rushing up to kick her in the teeth, she could feel her anxiety rising and it made her walk faster in a direction she didn't know was safe and that was just all the worse. A snap of a twig behind her had Brooke running rather than checking, people who checked behind them got dead, and Brooke was not about getting dead -three serial killers and she was dying in some spooky maze in some weird reality? Not today Satan.

But running blindly never really helped anyone, and Brooke almost instantly collided violently with another body, tumbling them both to the ground with force and probably bruising her elbow. "Ow, shit." Thankfully, not a serial killer. "Liz! Sorry. Are you okay?" Brooke gambled on taking a minute to assess things, no one coming around the corner behind her meant maybe she and Liz could regroup and find the freaking exit.

Liz had been talking to Michael on speakerphone when she heard Noah's voice in her ear. Thinking he was right behind her, she took off running. She'd already been through two nightmare nights with the evil alien, she didn't want to go through another one.

She ran as far as she could around each corner hoping he wouldn't stop her in her tracks again like he did at the Gala. To be frozen and not able to go anywhere as he tried to kill her had been one of the more scary experiences she'd been through. Luckily, she'd injected him with her serum moments before and it kicked in before he could finish the task. It all worked out but it was a little too close of a call for her liking.

Concerned with what was behind her, she didn't see anyone was in front of her and she ran right into someone. She fell down to the ground with a scream and scrambled to get up so she could keep going. When she realized it was one of her friends, she relaxed and reached out in the dark for her. "Brooke! Dios Mio I'm so glad it's you. I'm sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going. He - he was right behind me" She told her, shining the phone in the direction she'd been coming from, a happy sigh coming from her when she saw Noah wasn't there anymore. "It's safe now. We're okay"
