Who: Molly and Rogue
What: Rescue team
Where: in the maze, near a snack station
When: A couple of hours after Molly appeared in there
Status: IP
Triggers: Mentions of death/dead bodies, spiders
Molly hadn’t meant to enter the maze. Though Molly had publicly (with the other children at least) put on a brave face about the whole thing, it gave her the creeps and she was not a fan of it. She was relieved that no one asked her to go in to rescue anyone, even when some of the other kids had gone missing. Maybe she knew that she should have, but without Nico and Chase and Karoline to help her, she wasn’t sure that it was a good idea.
The Entity, it seems, disagreed. At first, it was fine. It was dark and it was creepy and the screams of other people scared her, but nothing terrible had happened. But then she was sure she’d seen Mr. Wilder. And then, she saw the Steins in a corner. And then she’d seen her own mother… her own mother stabbing another little girl. Was that girl a sacrifice? She couldn’t tell. She didn’t want to know. She let out a screech, but her mother didn’t seem to notice. Molly had to get away.
She’d started punching through thick corn wall after thick corn wall, but nothing was helping. Everytime she broke one corn wall, another appeared. And they were all covered in spiders. Molly hated spiders. And the more she used her power, the more it drained her. The glowing pink light that came off of her hair and her eyes was fading, and Molly could feel her whole body getting heavy. She needed to sleep to recharge, but she knew it wasn’t safe.
Molly came across a table of snacks, and quickly shoveled some of the packaged goods in her face. She was starting to nod, as she stood there, and her knees gave out, causing her to land on the floor. Maybe Five was right. Maybe she could slide under the table and no one would even see her in the dark. She groaned at the idea of sleeping where spiders could crawl on her, but what choice did she have?
Molly rolled, just enough to ensure that all her limbs where under the table, and she tucked herself into a close little ball. She was shivering, and scared, but using her power had consequences. Her eyes felt heavy, and she passed into a deep sleep for how long she didn’t know. Molly awoke to someone moving towards the table, and she let out a small involuntary yelp as she remembered where she was.
