Who: Liz and OPEN
What: Crying in the dark
Where: The Maze
When: Early afternoon
Warning: TBD

The light from her cellphone shot into the sky as she slid down against the wall behind her, a sob escaping her as she hit the ground.

Ontop of being in this hell hole of a maze, she'd lost the love of her life again. He swore he'd never leave her but just few moments ago, she felt it. She felt him leave her as their connection was put out like a candle in the wind, quickly and without warning. It wasn't his fault, she knew that, but she felt the loss. It hurt so much knowing he was going back home to be dead and there was something she could do about it.

Her sobs filled the part of the maze she was in as she openly cried and when the screams began joining her, she dropped her phone and put her hands over her ears. This was getting to be too much. She didn't know how much more she was able to be able to take.

Crowley had been wandering now for hours. Or probably days. Time was different to him. He'd avoided more than fought, yelling at the corn to get out of his dammed way, some of it parting and some of it being stubborn, and finally becoming a snake and just slithering towards what he hoped was the exit had gotten him pretty far. He was content to do this until the end and would have except for the crying.

He should ignore the crying. And move on. He was a demon for hells sake. But he could just imagine Aziraphale if whoever this was died. And he'd had a chance to stop it and didn't. Rolling his eyes as much as a snake was able, he transformed back to himself, adjusted his glasses and stepped toward the crying girl.

He could see in the dark quite well as it happened.

"Hey, Hey love, listen, My names Crowley. I don't know if you've heard of me but I live in Ostrich Villa too. I'll help you out, alright?"

He picked up her phone, charging it quickly through demonic power and held out his hand.

"Don't be scared. You're not alone."

Full on sobbing, she jumped when a voice out of nowhere that wasn't Michael. He was the only one that she expected to join her at some point. In her grief, she forgot that there were other people lost too. Looking up, she realized the voice was friendly and that she didn't need to be scared. Even so, she didn't take his hand when he offered it to her because she would rather sit there and cry then go on in the maze anymore. She shook her head and pushed his hand away. "Yes I am! You have no idea how alone I am now that Max is gone" He didn't know who she was talking about most likely but that didn't matter to her.

Well that was rude. After all he'd been trying to help her. But on second thought Crowley realised she was grieving. She was upset and it was because this Max person was gone. Probably dead in the maze somewhere, so dwelling on that idea wasn't going to be good for her. "We could go look for him?" he said hopefully. Aziraphale would be so much better at this.

"Sitting here is dangerous love, he wouldn't want you just to sit here and wait for something worse to come and find you, now would he?

He had no idea if any of this was working but it had been worth a try all the same. He hadn't actually been lying, sitting here was dangerous and he wasn't about to leave someone on their own. The angel would never stop going on about it after all.

"He's not here" She told him with a shake of her head, a hand coming up to press against her chest right above where her heart was. Under her shirt was a faint handprint from when Max marked her close to a week ago. It was fading but their connection had still been there when he left and that was how she knew he was completely gone. He wasn't in the maze lost somewhere or even out of it, he was not in Goodland at all anymore.

"What's the point? There's no way out of here! I've been here for days and days and I haven't found the way out" She told him, having given up home long before Max disappeared. She'd never been the hopefully optimistic type. "Michael is in here too. He came in here to rescue me and I haven't seen him yet. This place is impossible!"

She was spiraling, and if she kept up, something would just wind up eating her or stabbing her or something equally final.

"He might not be here, but what if he comes back and you're not here anymore because some bloody clown has stabbed you to death. And even if he doesn't come back, do you think he'd want you to be like this, just sitting here? Look, come with me now and we'll get you out."

He'd been here days and days too but he supposed days weren't as long for someone who had been around from The Beginning.

"We'll find Michael and we'll find an exit. Alright love? Come on now."

He held out his hand again hoping maybe she'd listen.
