Carol rolled her eyes a little at his response. "I meant in town," she said. Of course, even with the many years she spent away from Earth, she knew enough about Tony to know that at one time, the bars really had been his home away from home. That hadn't been the case anymore last she saw him, but she wasn't going to mention that. There was a lot she wasn't going to mention. It wasn't her place to tell him what the future held.
"I can't complain," she said with a shrug. "My roommate is nice enough. There are decent bars. And now you're giving me a job." It would be the first time in a long time that she had one of those.
