WHO: Luna Lovegood and OPEN
WHEN: Friday
WHERE: A park?
WHAT: Luna arrives!
RATING: TBD, but probably not high.

Stretching, Luna looked at the tall buildings that surrounded her with a bit of wonder. Her father had told her stories about buildings like this! Buildings that were so tall that they made you dizzy and created a brain fog, not unlike the Nargles. How wonderful was it?

This was a city though and Luna was pretty sure she had fallen asleep in a forest. A forest that had been home to a herd of Abraxan horses. Luna had been trying to track them down and recover a sample of their features for use in a new potion a popular potioner had been working on. Horses like that were not going to be found in a place like this though. Oh? Maybe she needed to start looking for nifflers or something of that sort.

"Hello?" Luna said dreamily as she heard the fall of footsteps behind her. "Tell me, do buildings fall that often?" They didn't seem all that safe being so tall. Gravity didn't like things like that. "Or do you have some kind of magic to hold it up?"

"Of course not," Susan said. It was still difficult to believe in magic being real, despite the evidence to the contrary. This city could change appearance on a whim, it could bring people from any number of places and times, it could even bring forth creatures to show her the things she feared most, but the strong skeptic in Susan was sure there much be a logical, scientific explanation for all of it. Magic was something for childhood games and fairytales. The fact that she'd commissioned her brother a very Narnian cake didn't mean she believed it was real (or so she continued to tell herself); it merely meant she accepted that he believed and knew he would like it.

"The buildings are perfectly safe," she told the girl confidently, offering her a reassuring smile, even as she was unsettled by the casual mention of magic as if it was a thing that truly existed. "They're built with plenty of reinforcements to keep them standing." At least unless some sort of natural or manmade disaster came to rattle the foundations beyond the limits of those reinforcements.

It was still strange, seeing this replica of New York City without so many of the buildings she had seen in her own time, whether because they simply didn't exist in 2019 or because Goodland seemed to have a peculiar lack of other residences - no apartment buildings, no hotels, nothing of that sort, save Ostriches Villa where they all lived. It was all a bit strange, but she supposed this Entity, whatever it was, wanted them all under one roof.

"I'm Susan," she added, remembering her manners. "Are you newly arrived here?"

Luna's brow knitted together in clear disbelief. How could you have buildings so tall they didn't need magic to stand up? At the very least, how could you not have something to protect it from the weather and storms? Muggles were smart, but even they needed help once in a while. They all needed help from time to time! "But why wouldn't you want magic to hold them up? It's very efficient."

She continued to stare up at the building. "Magic would make it so nothing could topple them." She told Susan making a falling motion with her arms. Either way, Luna shrugged because who was she to judge how things were done here?

"Nice to meet you, Susan." Luna said happily turning to face the girl properly. "I'm Luna. I am a magizoologist, you know."
