Happy birthday, Lux!

Happy Birthday, Lux!

Freddy & Peter planned a small birthday celebration for Lux on the roof of Ostrich's Villa. The roof is decorated with balloons and a "Happy Birthday, Lux!" banner. There is a chocolate and vanilla birthday cake, ice cream, pizza, and assorted drinks (thank you, Tony, for paying). A film projector is set up to watch movies. All those under 21 are invited. Adults are on their own!

	Ellie is still getting to know people, but she wouldn't miss someone's birthday. Sadly, she doesn't know Lux too well, or have money, but Colossus says thoughtful gifts aren't always expensive, so Ellie brought a small box of bright and colourful carefully folded origami animals just for Lux. 	Despite appearances, Ellie is not opposed to hugs, so hug away! She'll even make more whenever she gets a little fidgety too, and she does take requests to try and make other animals/creatures. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Nico showed up at some point to kind of quickly wish her a happy birthday and give her a cookbook. It's a very sincere gift because he figures if she's going to try to cook, she might as well have some recipes, and he thinks she enjoys the kitchen, so he thought she might enjoy a cookbook. It's wrapped in brown paper with her name on it in a deliberately trying not to be messy scrawl. He might not stay too long, but he'd try to be polite and not immediately bail after handing over the present. Just kind of lurk in the background and people watch.

Lux is really glad he showed up and thanks him a TON for the cookbook! She lets him know he's going to be a guinea pig with her for all the food she makes, because she does not know portion sizing and there will be leftovers for sure. It's a really thoughtful gift and she asks him if she can give him a hug. If he says no she verbally tells him she's sending him big hug feels and she really appreciates him!

Nico would politely and patiently tell her that the book tells you portion sizes per recipe and point out the "serves X" so she knows when she makes it how much each recipe serves. He's not against it! He just has a terrible relationship with food right now (and may or may not be kinda hiding it). But he'd tell her he'd try some of the stuff. (And he would, even if it's a bite followed by copious amounts of distractions.) He would tell her she can have a quick hug because it's her birthday and do his best not to squirm away.

Okay but lets be real, Lux is going to make more to feed them anyway because she's somehow got real maternal out of nowhere and idk how it happened but it did. Lux is actually really observant for how chaotic she is, so over time she may notice the food thing (only if you want!) but she's glad he's staying, that he'll try her creations, and yay they can all watch to the movie together!!

Obviously Peter was there. He and Freddy planned the thing! (Which is why he didn't say anything on Lux's post shhh.) He made sure Lux had a nice time because this is a good and proper Earth-y birthday but would have asked her if she wanted to do anything specific or if there were traditions she wanted and made sure they did them if they were doable. He got her a gift card to the movie theater so she could go see another movie if she wants (it had enough for two tickets so she could go twice or take a friend), a gift card for a pizza place, and a refurbished iPod Classic with some music on it (and headphones/earbuds and charger) and the promise to show her how it works. Also Tesla (rough visual representation of cute puppo) made an appearance for a little while to say hi to everyone.

Lux is so thankful to Freddy & Peter for celebrating her birthday! The only thing Lux asked from Peter is that they don't sing the happy birthday song but "For she's a jolly good fellow" instead. Traditionally it'd basically be like a ball, with dancing and stuff but she was 99.9% sure no one would want to do the dances and they aren't the easiest to learn so she left that bit out. She may or may not make Peter dance with her at some point though.

She LOVES the iPod classic because it's way more simple to use than the phone to listen to music and she immediately asks Peter if he wants to go to the movies with her. :D Also thanks him for the pizza gift card bc she's loves pizza so much!!! And Tesla gets all the pets

	Cisco isn’t under 21, but Lux asked him to come. He probably just stayed for a couple hours, he gets kind of anxious in crowds. But he brought her another gift, a gift card for the same bakery he got the fancy rainbow cupcakes from. (Reply to this) (Thread)
