Sleeping in a real room that wasn't leaking things on him was strange. There were no rodents or bugs skittering across the floor. The most unsettling part was not a single member of the crew was around to make him from the darkness in his mind. Nightmares plagued his mind when he took the moment to sleep, but that happened to most kids from the Isle. No amount of comfortable bedding was going to change his sleeping habits.
He yawned, pressing a bare hand to his mouth, and stepped out of his room. His hair was clearly the victim of a less than restful night of sleep and his eyeliner was smudged beneath his eyes.

By Evil, he felt like shite.

Harry made it a few steps out of the room and found himself stopping in his tracks. His eyes widened as he took in the sight of Wanda in the kitchen again. They had barely been in this place and she seemed to do a lot of baking or cooking. He frowned and forced his feet to keep moving as he moved towards the sink. Not a word passed his lips as he went about getting himself a glass. The young pirate flicked the faucet on and put his fingers underneath to test the temp without thinking.

"Shite," he hissed out as he yanked his hand back hard. That was bloody scalding. He set the glass down blindly and found himself twisting fast as it started to tumble off the counter. He managed to bend down fast enough to catch the glass before shattered against the ground. He stayed there for a moment as he breathed out hard through pursed lips.

"I hate this place," he muttered and didn't cast a glance at Wanda. He had the urge to release some energy by getting in a fight. Shame nearly everyone he talked to seemed against a brawl.

"What the bloody Hell are ye even doing?" He finally looked at Wanda as he stood up. "Dinnae want to explore?"

Two days, Wanda had lived there, and two nights she had slept very little. Instead, she had spent a great deal of her time grieving, and thinking about those who'd been lost and everything else that had happened over the last few days. To be in this place, somewhere that showed none of the effects of Thanos, was almost too much to bear. As a result and as a way to distract herself, she had spent a fair amount of money at the markets, and had stocked the cabinets of the apartment she shared with Adrian and Harry. Wanda hadn't had the opportunity to spend a lot of time with them, but that didn't stop her from taking over the kitchen since it seemed neither had a great deal of interest themselves.

When she heard footsteps and looked over, the Sokovian offered a friendly smile, though he barely looked at her. "Good morning," she offered as she poured honey into a cup of tea that sat in front her. On the stove was a large covered pot that simmered with soup, but otherwise she had cleaned off the counters. Wanda noticed the glass tipping and falling, and had been on the verge of catching it with her powers, but stopped when he moved, a little surprised by his reflexes.

"Cooking soup," she replied, then gave a small shrug. "I went out early this morning, and I expect I'll go out again, but I'm taking my time. It's very...busy out there. Have you explored?"

An eyebrow arched upward when she said she was cooking soup. That would explain the smell. Now, it didn't smell bad, which was the confusing part. Cook's food always smelled like death in a cauldron when it was boiling away. He cast a look towards the pot on the stove before actually filling his glass with water.

It was going to take awhile for him to get used to things it seemed.

Harry took a large swig of the clean water and nearly choked. He did, however, actually manage to swallow without spitting it back out. The muffled strangled noise that left him was audible enough that he was sure Wanda heard. The water tasted strange to him since he was used to stagnant water or water that had been in rust just a little too long. He turned to lean back against the counter so he could watch his roommate.

"Aye, been out a handful of times. Tried pineapple pizza," his nose wrinkled slightly in annoyance. "Spent a wee bit of time at the beach as well." He took a much smaller sip of water and ignored the hunger growing in his stomach. It was a void that didn't know what to do with so much food around. "Mainly just talked with people and realized...this place is peculiar. Everyone seems so bloody trusting." Those last words left his lips with disdain. At some point people were going to show him their wicked side, they always did without fail.
