The smile wasn't the normal reaction, but he was still amused anyway. Harry wasn't looking to take a quick tumble with Hope anytime soon. No, he was looking for information. She had been in this place longer than him and that meant she was a fountain of knowledge. Oh, sure, he could have just asked Mal, but he didn't really want to deal with her sarcasm and judgment at the moment.
An eyebrow arched upward at her remark about the last guy and he found himself smirking. "I happen ta like trouble," he drawled out as he hooked his thumbs through his belt loops. Rings glinted on his fingers, drawing attention the chipped nail polish on his fingers. If he was going to be stuck in this place for a long time than he was going to need to find a supply of polish and eyeliner. Maybe some new clothes as well. His jaw ticked as he realized he would probably have to ask Mal how she was getting by in this place. Figured he would get trapped in another place with the future Queen of Auradon. At least Beasty Boy wasn't about, neither was the Pup or Jay. Actually, so far only Mal had said anything to him which made him realize not even Blueberry was here.
Harry Hook only had Mal in this place. Now that was an unpleasant thought.
He shoved all those pesky thoughts down and flourished a hand outwards in a motion to let Hope know she could lead the way. "Aye, I could go with some vittles. Trust me, lovely, anything here has got to be better than the slop on the Isle." His smile turned a little nastier as he tried not to think about the fact there were still kids working on crossing the bridge to Auradon. Who was going to take them all in? Better yet, why was he concerned? Harry ran a hand through his wild hair before blowing a slow breath out. It was clear his moods flipped on a coin, rather like the sea and a storm.
"Ye mentioned...pineapple. Ye need to understand, I know bloody nothing about most food. If ye tell me something is something then I will rightly believe ye."
Gil had called grapes melon because they just didn't know.
