Who: Thor and Torunn

Thor always made it a point to be involved in his daughter's life. She might have been born to a different universe to a man who was just as bad as Odin when it came to caring for children, but Thor was determined to make sure that she always knew how much she was loved and cared for by him.

It had been harder lately. Losing his brother had affected him more than he had realized he would. The realization that his brother had essentially died again caused an ache in his chest, making him relieve the failures that lead up to the events of his brothers demise. Thor had been taking to spending more time alone, than he had in the past. It didn’t help that Valkyrie was over more and more often to the point where she almost lived with them.

Thor wanted to spend time with his daughter, he felt like he hadn’t been a great dad in the last few weeks and so he had set out cooking dinner. It wasn’t much, Tia had tried to teach him, but he’d only really managed to pick up on mac and cheese, and using the oven enough to make some steaks for the two of them. He had managed okay, he thought, taking a taste of the cheesy noodles.

“Torunn,” He called out, and he moved toward her room, tapping on the door lightly. “I have cooked, will you eat with me?”
