There hadn't really been much consideration put to someone coming in, from any world, and not understanding the Multiverse theory. Like they just took for granted that everyone would get it straight away.
And from the sounds of things, Jubilee had already been through the trials as it were. Mentions of a suppression collar were all it took to understand that even if it wasn't all Sentinels and Vampire curses for this version, it was still fairly shitty for her. Remy wouldn't believe that there was any world where he'd leave Storm behind, or put her in a position he couldn't get her out of. But it didn't seem like Jubilee knew that, or at least that some version of him hadn't been as forth coming.
Explaining things over food was just about the most basic thing they could do. And maybe he'd get a slap or little paff for whatever he did to her, his eyebrows would grow back. It was more important Jubilee felt safe.
Waiting by the lobby, glaring at some of the Ostriches through his shades, Remy charged the end of his cigarette before flicking it away to make a tiny explosion in the air.
