» left for Bucky Barnes on Wednesday morning

Bucky,
I didn't think you'd want a big show of things this morning, but I wanted to wish you a happy name day birthday.

» On most days, it is rather calm, which is a nice change.
» I used to wish for the same. Something fancy and decadent.
» I suppose with age, it's easier to appreciate what we had.
» Sentiment seems more important now.

» Although I'm sure you still managed to find trouble with Steve regardless.

-- If I'm honest, there are moments I'm not sure what to do with the calm.
-- And realizing that the big fuss is sometimes just that - a fuss.

-- We did. Often it was me telling him how much fun we'd have, but there were times he'd manage to find trouble himself too.

» Truthfully, I feel the same.
» Although I am in no way capable of dealing with those times we're invaded, I am far used to having things to do constantly.

» I imagine you both considered the trouble you found to be fun.
» My younger brothers were very much always looking for trouble.
» Arya still does.

-- Not all soldiers fight on the battlefield.

-- We did. Our version of trouble anyway. Even back then we snuck into a lot of places.
-- Looking for trouble may be part of the younger sibling code across all worlds.

» Queen's certainly don't.
» But yes. I understand the notion. It's just that this place certainly isn't Winterfell, there's less organising to be done.

» You were already getting masterful at sneaking into places then.
» It does seem like an unwritten rule.
» It's only frustrating some of the time.

-- Most of us tend to develop our own types of strategy when things go south anyway.
-- Is there something here you'd think you'd like doing? Even if it's more so a hobby than a duty.

-- Movie theaters, ballparks. Nothing all that wild or crazy, but it felt like it at the time.

» Strategy I can do. But usually it's a large battlefield with horses and castles to defend.
» I am enjoying learning how to cook, we've always had people who do that.
» I would like to do something a little more useful of course.

» Ballparks? Like... I'm not sure what those are?

-- I've enjoyed you learning how to cook too since I've been able to reap the benefits.
-- But I understand wanting to do find something else too.

-- Places where sporting events are sometimes held. In my case, one called baseball.
-- There are some baseball fields in Central Park that you may have seen, but the ones we went to could hold a lot more spectators.
-- In the real New York, I grew up just across the river from where we are now, and there was one close by but was demolished years ago.

» It definitely seems to be helpful in the long run.
» There really is only so much feeding people one person can do.

» Oh, right. Sports are very different now, or here, or now. No one is lanced off a horse and then beat with a sword for entertainment.
» I was picturing a giant park filled with balls though. Which would've at least been good for Shaggy Dog and Summer.
» Did they not have any more sporting events to hold there?

-- If there's anything I can do to help you figure out what that might be, I will.

-- Not in recent years.
-- That's something I wouldn't mind seeing actually.
-- The team moved to a different city, so it wasn't being used.
-- There are other teams in the city, but it's not the same as it was then.

» Thank you, Bucky, I appreciate that.

» So they took the old one down for space?
» We rarely have those issues, although villages can be destroyed from famine, weather or invasion.
» Our kingdoms seem very far apart compared to yours.

» These games sound interesting though.

-- They did. An apartment building is where part of the field was now, but there are a couple reminders that they left behind to mark what was there before.
-- I'd only been to that area of Brooklyn once since I started getting my memories back, so I'm not sure if anything else has changed since then.
-- New York is crammed together, but not everywhere is like this.

-- People still play on the fields in the Park if you'd like to watch a game sometime.

» At least they kept something for history, to memorialise what it meant.
» Erasing history can be dangerous, after all.
» Maybe it will be like rediscovering it all over, when you're able to.

» I would, actually. That sounds like it could be interesting.
» Modern sports seem to be vast in number.

-- That's something people often forget. Erasing history.

-- There are a lot more now than there used to be when I first watched them.
-- And made into a lot more than just experiencing the game.
-- We can go anytime you'd like.

-- I'll bring a couple balls they can chew on for themselves just in case they get ideas to go chasing after the ones in play on the field.
