Pym’s new diet was really starting to affect him. There was a lot more sugar, caffeine, and carbs that had been introduced into his diet and Pym’s energy levels (which were already on the high end) were definitely affected. As a result, even in the evening, after having explored the planet with Mr. Bruce, Pym was buzzing around the ship in the most excitable way possible.

He was literally buzzing, in his miniature form, weaving in and out of others. He flew past a colored blob of lime green hair before skidding to a stop. Teddy! They could explore together! He spun around and flew back, growing to his normal size just short of his friend.

“Hey!” Pym grinned widely, “Did you know that there are service tunnels! And we can fit into them. Want to explore them?”

Teddy wasn't sneaking, exactly. Sneaking meant he didn't have permission to go around the ship. And if you didn't ask, then you didn't get told no. And if you didn't get told no, then that meant you were totally allowed.

Kind of.

He was walking through the halls, not exactly disguising himself, and he was pretty sure space didn't have tiny bugs but you couldn't be too sure. But then the tiny bug turned into a full grown almost-teenager and that meant it was Pym! "Hi!" He glanced around, making sure Julia wasn't around. Just in case. Not that he wasn't allowed out and about. It wasn't his fault the Entity had decided they didn't technically share a house anymore. "Of course I do!" Because why wouldn't he want to explore, well, anything?

There was a twinkle in Pym’s eyes when Teddy agreed. He was happy for people like Teddy and Lyra, who almost always wanted to run around with him. It made him miss Azari less. “I think I saw a hatch thingy over this way,” Pym gestured for Teddy to follow him as he set off bounding down one hallway and then another.

The hallway they stood in now was a less used side corridor, and Pym pointed to a door in the floor with a valve looking handle. “This is probably like where you would have to go in to fix something. I bet there is a ton of cool things to look in down there!” Pym began to turn the circular handle and grinned, “Wanna go first or do you want me to?”

Teddy followed along willingly, a wide grin on his face. He'd been here longer but Pym had already kind of become a role model. Not just because he was always willing to go exploring and find new things, but he was really smart, too. Teddy was pretty good in school, but he didn't like math and science like Pym did.

"Or, it could be where they're storing secret weapons. Or monsters! Big aliens with lots of tentacles!" He hesitated for a moment. It really could be anything. But his mum and dad wouldn't let the unknown stop him and neither would he! "You go first, you're older. And you can get small if we gotta run." Teddy could get smaller but not like...tiny bug small like Pym could!

Pym tilted his head as he considered what Teddy was saying. He didn’t think there would be aliens or monsters or secret weapons, but he also never expected Tony to hide a huge secret super suit building laboratory from them. “I’ll go first then!” He said, pulling up the door.

“And don’t worry,” Pym said, holding up his arms to show off the gauntlets around his wrists, “I wont let anything hurt us, okay?”

Teddy really wished he was better with magic. Technically he still had a while before he would have been going to Hogwarts and using a wand to learn all the cool spells. Some wizards were really good with wandless magic but he was still only a kid and his powers were all over the place.

But that was okay when you had friends with cool gadgets and powers who could help. "Those are so super cool," he agreed, admiring them with a slightly dreamy look. He stuck close by, but not too close, as he peered ahead at what looked kind of like a trap door. "If I knew more magic I could just make that pop off. Or we could Apparate!"

"Tony made them for me." He said proudly. "I bet we could get you something too maybe? We would just need to ask." Pym said with a nod.

"We just gotta pull really, really hard, right?" He said, and he pulled on the door, almost comically falling over when he got the trap door to budge, revealing to them a ladder that went down. "I'll go first!" Pym said, and immediately started down the ladder.

His big eyes - brown at the moment - lit up. "That would be really super awesome but I bet Mr. Tony is really busy." Teddy would be if he was a grownup. And Mr. Tony had the baby, too, and babies were a lot of work. Aunt Ginny looked tired a lot with baby Alby.

For the briefest second Teddy was worried when Pym fell but he hopped back up and of course he did because Pym was awesome. "Be careful," he said firmly in the voice that was absolutely going to be a Hufflepuff prefect someday.

	"Maybe I can just teach you to use mine then." Pym said with a shrug, excited to have someone to teach and show things to. He always wanted a younger sibling. Pym glanced up at Teddy and nodded, "I'm always careful!" Which was absolutely a lie, "Come on, I'll keep us safe!" (Reply to this) (Parent)
