Rose might have slightly exaggerated how close she was, but she was a fast runner and it hadn't taken her long at all to make her was to Lissa once she figured out exactly where she was. Goodland wasn't dangerous in the same way that their home was, but for Rose it had been so long, between the time she'd spent in Russia and the time she'd been in Goodland and for her, well, they hadn't exactly left things on the best of terms. For Rose, their reunion there hadn't actually happened yet.
The comment Lissa made was expected and Rose nodded her understanding. "Trust me, I know. It's really weird, even for us and I had trouble believing it, myself." She was pretty sure even her head couldn't maintain this kind of a delusion for months and she knew she couldn't have come up with some of the twisted shit this place tended to throw at them. Honestly, weird was kind of an understatement.
"I mean, I haven't even gotten to the part where I'm actually really good friends with Spiderman and I kind of worked for Iron Man for awhile," she quipped, even though both things were true. Not that she would have know who those people actually were if it wasn't for Eddie and his nerd obsessions. She couldn't help thinking he'd really get a kick out of this place.
"I know this is going to make everything sound even weirder, but I have to ask... Liss, what's the last thing you remember from home?" Knowing Goodland, she really couldn't count on them being from the same time.
