He was on his way to his studio when he came across the door. At first it just took him by surprise, and Bucky stopped short to look the door over like it was a piece of a puzzle. It had come out of no where, and even though he knew in the back of his mind that there was a strong possibly something bad was on the other side of the old, worn door, curiosity soon took control. He opened the door slowly and was ready to spring into action if something popped out at him. But nothing did. Walking through, Bucky kept a hand on the door knob, but before he knew it, the door slammed against him with a thud and disappeared as soon as it was closed.
"Great," he murmured in a deadpan. The first thing he noticed, other than being surrounded in a dark forest, was a humming sound. It was all around him like an annoying version of white noise, and he couldn't pinpoint its directional source. At this point, his only option was to start walking to see if he could find a way out or another door.
Eyes peeled for movement, Bucky's training began to kick in instinctively. He walked silently through the woods, letting his eyes adjust to the darkness. It was then that he heard the sound of fighting and a loud blast come not far from behind him. He turned, waited a moment, and then took off towards the sound, soon seeing another spark of a blast just ahead. Before he got there though, a loud screech came at him from the left soon followed by a strange creature wielding a pitchfork.
Bucky dodged the pitchfork just in time. The only weapon he had on him at the moment was himself, so he readied himself for the next attack and once it came, he lashed out a kick that didn't hit quite as hard as he thought it would. It still managed to push the creature back, and Bucky managed to grab hold of the pitchfork as it fell. He went at it himself, slicing through the creature only to find that instead of blood, there was... straw?
Wait what? Just then, he looked over what had initially caught his attention. Iron Man. "Tony?"
