Thor Odinson ([info]stillworthy) wrote in [info]somerealityrpg,
“I will have to ask the entity one day.” He said thoughtfully, but he knew he had been pressing his luck, he had asked for so many things already, he had so much already, that he felt bad asking for even more. He had always been a little greedy, but he was still wary about what favors he might owe this entity.

“Oh, I know you like fighting.” He nudged her gently. “A few years of doing good doesn’t erase centuries of being selfish?” He repeated to her… and then it dawned on him, Valkyrie was long gone by the time Thor was in Asgard. She didn’t know of the arrogant, war hungry prince that he had been, she didn’t know of his selfishness and hedonism.

“What would you say about the Prince who wanted nothing more than glory? The selfish Prince who, when on a diplomatic mission to Midgard, convinced the natives that he and his brother were gods worthy of worship? The Arrogant Prince who thought he knew better than his father when it came to their kingdom that he lead his closest friends into battle against the Frost Giants and nearly got them killed. The Prince who was banished for starting a war after years of peace because he was vengeful. The Prince who put an entire town of Midgard in danger because he had brought the troubles of Asgard to them and was unable to adequately protect them? Several. Times.” There was an edge to his voice, it was the way he got when he spoke of his own failures. He ran a hand through his hair, or lack there of these days, before his hand sought out hers.

He simply raised her eyebrow at her, “Those not born to royalty often make better leaders anyway.” He told her squeezing her hand.
