"Okay," Colin said softly to Draco. He was on his feet again, mostly out of habit, when he heard the familiar pop of apparition. There was still a moment where Colin was unsure what exactly would appear in front of him, but he smiled when he recognized at least the color of the hair in front of him.
Colin didn’t hesitate at all in returning the hug, so relieved to finally see someone that he knew would help him. Draco hadn’t been vicious by any rights, but the familiar sight of the older boy… the one who he had willingly done product tests for as a first year, it was relieving.
Colin frowned, just slightly, as George pulled back from him. He looked older than Colin remembered, but it had been a while since they had seen each other.
“Want a cracker?” He asked softly, holding out the crumbled sleeve of crackers towards him. But Colin was smiling, and his shoulders lost the tension that they had had in them before.
