Adjusting to Goodlands was more of a challenge than she had expected it to be. She hadn’t heard much from the women that she was staying with, which could be her fault, as the first three days she had practically sectioned herself off to her room trying to sleep and heal up from the mental affair that had been finding out about her father and his powers.
It had been a week, and Riri was still experiencing bouts of panic about it… she was still riding these high waves of emotions. She still couldn’t believe that her father had faked his own death-- to get away from them-- to run off and play super villain. Did he know what sort of life he left his daughters to have?
“I can’t get FRIDAY recircuited.” Riri growled frustratedly, throwing down the screw driver she was using on her head piece. She wasn’t typically the sort of kid who acted out like she was, but she was still struggling with the overwhelming feeling-- realizing her dad didn’t want her until she proved useful. And then throwing his powers at her when she denied joining his cult.
