Tony loved having a baby, but he was used to parenting teenagers so handling a new-born was, well, hard. He adored the little dude, but he was exhausted. However, for once in his life, he couldn't feel happier. It finally felt like everything was in place. He wouldn't trade his life in Goodland for anything, which was exactly why he was doubling down on researching the science behind the place. He couldn't bear the idea of vanishing or having one of his loved ones vanish. However, for the moment? He needed coffee. Somehow, some way? The Iron Family apartment was out of the precious liquid. Tony, therefore, threw on some comfortable clothes and headed to the Ostrich Villa cafe for coffee.

"Tony Stark!"

"That is me, thanks," Tony told the barista as he threw money in the tip jar.

Raven wasn't sure what to make of Goodland, even if it had given her friends that she knew. Murphy who had been taking care of her since she got there. Echo. Bellamy was there too. Then there had been Sam. Someone that she didn't really know, but he'd known Clarke. Told them that she'd left Goodland. Even intrigured her where the tech aspect came into play.

She'd managed to get out of the apartments for a bit and into a cafe, not that she'd intended on it. All of this? It was still pretty new to her. She does, however, hear the barista call out the guy's name and she remembered the name from Sam. This was the guy that had a lab off who knew where?

"You're Tony?" She stands off to the side, doing her best to keep the weight off of her bad leg. Despite the fact that Murphy had been massaging it lately, it still hurt. It had been a bit since she got out and about like this. Or it was more often than usual.

Tony swallowed his hot coffee and glanced in the direction of the unfamiliar voice. "Hmm?" He spotted someone he hadn't seen around the apartment complex before. He knew there were some new arrivals, but he couldn't keep them straight since he had been focused on little Ethan's arrival the last few weeks. "Tony Stark at your pleasure," he replied. "I'm sorry, but you are?"

	"Oh, Sammy?" Tony flashed her a smile as he narrowed the gap between them. "I'm usually better with new arrivals," he explained, "but I just had a baby so my mind is sort of mush." He shook his head and laughed. Hell, he wasn't even sure his t-shirt matched his jeans, which was rare for the always put together Mr. Stark. "He is a good friend of mine." "That would be him." Even if she's pretty sure that wasn't what the good doctor had introduced himself as. So, it was a bit obvious Sam and Tony were really good friends if the other was calling him that. "Congrats on the new baby," she tells him with a bit of a smile. "We got to talking around the time I got here and he told me to talk to you. Since tech is my thing." At the time she hadn't turned her bedroom into a makeshift lab.

	"Thanks," he replied. "And always good to talk shop with someone. I have a few minutes if you want to grab a table?" He nodded toward an empty one nearby. He may have brushed her off if she hadn't mentioned Sam in order to get back to his family, but he figured Sam referred her to him for a reason. He trusted Sam's judgment. "Sure, why not," Raven tells him before moving over to a nearby table and sitting down, stretching out her leg that had the brace on it. She gives him a bit of a smile," I've actually turned my room into a makeshift lab since I talked to Dr. Wilson last. Though, I get restless real easy and need my projects. Back home I was the youngest Zero G mechanic. Here? Everything seems outdated."

	He wondered about her leg, but kept it to himself for the moment. Maybe Sam already looked at it? He took another sip of his coffee and nodded as she spoke. He could relate to restlessness. 	She wouldn't be upset if he asked. Though, she hadn't allowed anyone to look at it. Not when it was an injury that she'd been living with for so long. "Space, actually. We grew up on the a ship called the Ark. From what I've gathered this place is 100 years or more into the past for us." Though, she makes a bit of a face," What's a Jedi?" "Ah," Tony replied. "The Jedis are from space too. All different time periods from what I can tell." He set his cup down. "I know you probably don't trust it...and you shouldn't entirely...but the entity takes requests. You could likely get some of your tech here if you want." Tony long ago decided the entity was more dumb than malicious, but stupidity could be worse. It was obviously messing with magic it didn't understand. However, it did at least get things to people.

Raven rests her hand on her leg and listens as Tony talks. Maybe once she got home she'd have to talk to Murphy. Getting out wasn't the wisest of things, after all. She just needed the fresh air. "That's... interesting. I've never heard of them." As for the mention of Entity," I don't know if I trust something like that. And I'm not sure it's the fact that I don't have my tech. I can make tech just fine. Or even tools. I think, for me, it's that I'm getting restless. There's not a lot of projects to do here." Or maybe she was missing that somehow. "I'm used to working for myself and not anyone else. Or I'm used to having projects left and right to do."

"I can get that," Tony said. He had a lot of distractions in Goodland, but he still needed time alone in his lab, even if he wasn't saving the world or creating the next big thing. "I'm from, well, a chaotic time. See, I own a nanotechnology company at home. It's a long story, but I ended up creating an armored suit that makes me into a superhero." He let out a little whistle, obviously mocking himself. "Whoo hoo, long story short, I was always doing something crazy back home." He shrugged. "My family is my first priority here, but I'd still go crazy if I wasn't try to crack the code here. You know, give people a choice in whether they stay or go." And, most importantly, keep his family intact. "What sort of projects do you specialize in back home?"

"Dr. Wilson mentioned something about nanos too." Though, he'd been talking about wings. It had intrigured her when Sam had mentioned them. However, at the mention of becoming a superhero she raises a brow. That was interesting. "I understand crazy things back home. Back home? We don't really have jobs. We're doing everything to survive."

She shifts slightly in her seat,"I specialized in a lot of different things back home. Being the youngest Zero G mechanic landed me in fixing anything that could be taken apart. Though, I've also dealt with AIs and coding. Anything that's put in front of me, I can fix it or crack the code." She was, after all, considered a bit of a prodigy back home.

"Impressive," Tony commented. "I named my AI FRIDAY." He couldn't help thinking of JARVIS and, in turn Vision, but he pushed the dour memory away. He could fashion an AI like JARVIS again, but it wouldn't be the same. His AI were family; they couldn't just be duplicated. It was the reason he rebuilt Dum-E from his original parts after their house was attacked. "I run my company here," he continued. "I don't like to be caught off guard in the event...in the event something goes wrong here." He cocked his head, wondering how much she already knew about the place. "Sometimes things get dark here," he told her. "Sam and I and a few others are trying to figure out how to stabilize the magic behind this place, but in the meantime, I thought it was wise to keep up with technology."

"ALIE wasn't my AI exactly. She was, however, in my head and I had to get rid of her," she states simply. That hadn't exactly been fun, since she'd had to kill herself in order to do it. "If I hadn't of, she'd of harmed a lot of people. She took away the free will of far too many, as it was." That was something that would never be alright with her. Anything that took away free will wasn't a good thing. It was weird to hear that someone was running a business there, but it didn't phase her much.

"Have either of you figured out how to stabilize the magic yet? Though, I hear you. I'd rather keep up with the technology than be blind to it." As for knowing anything about the place, she didn't know much.

While Ultron wasn't in Tony's head, he could relate to having to get rid of out of control AI. However, he kept mum about it just then. No need to pile on someone he just met! "Sometimes really awesome things happen here," he told her, "but other times? Some dark events happen." He exhaled. "I think the dark events are an accident. You know, someone trying to wield magic and science it doesn't fully grasp. If we could somehow stabilize that...well, our lives here could be a bit more predictable."

He shook his head, frustration obvious on his face. "I've been here over a year now, but other than some luck with portals, it has been difficult cracking the exact code this universe is running on." He shrugged. "But that is why I haven't completely abandoned making tech. If something bad occurs again, I want to be ready so no one gets hurt."

ALIE had tried to take over her body, so AIs were an iffy subject to her. If there were AIs out there that weren't crazy enough to take someone's free will from them, then that was awesome. "What kind of dark events?" That was something that she needed to know in order to be prepared. To keep herself and Murphy from drowning in whatever it was.

"Well, if you ever need help I'll gladly do what I can," she tells him. It would give her something to do. "So, do you make other tech other than your armor?" Though, that sounded pretty damn awesome. She shifts in her seat again to reposition her bad leg. "I will do whatever it takes to protect those I care about."

"Well, we had a maze once." Tony frowned at the memory. "It was filled with psychos from all different universes and then..." He winced as he recalled facing his worst fears in that maze. "It made you hallucinate about terrible things happening to your loved ones." It was several months ago, but it left its mark. It had been Tony's first real reminder that everything wasn't perfect in Goodland. "More good happens than bad," he quickly added, "but, like I said, preparation and all that."

He visibly relaxed when she asked about his tech. That? Was an easy subject. "SI makes all sorts of different things," he said. "You can have a tour one day if you like."

"A maze. That sounds... interesting." Though, when she hears that it was filled with psychos and that it made a person hallucinate, she frowns. She had one loved one in Goodland. That happened to be John Murphy. They'd been tortured more than once in their lives, so the idea of something happening to him put her a bit on edge. Though, anything happening to Echo and Bellamy would put her on edge too. "I'll keep that in mind."

"I would definitely like that. I'd love to see what kind of tech your company makes." Being a bit of a tech goddess, she'd probably geek out over most of it.

	He had, after all, said that he was taking off to spend time with his family. She doesn't know what it's like with a new baby around.
