Torunn really liked having Tia around. She was used to being the "big sister" at home so it was strange being the youngest of her siblings in Goodland. Heck, everything was strange in Goodland. Her adoptive father didn't know her, her biological father wanted to know her, and she also had an aunt and grandmother from other worlds. Sometimes it was overwhelming, which is exactly why she liked sparring with anyone who would have her.

"Hey, Tia!" She called. "Do you want to learn how to use a sword?"

Tia was in her room laying on the floor coloring with Winky lying beside her when she heard Torunn call out to her. They both looked up when they heard it and Tia dropped her crayon with a smile. "Sure!" She exclaimed as she got up to a standing position. Brushing off her clothes, she ran into the room that she heard Torunn's voice come from and stopped in front of her with a big smile. "We can play pirates while you teach me!"

	"I was hoping you'd say that!" Torunn grinned at the younger girl before pulling something out of a box she was holding. "I got you one of your own. The blade can't hurt though. It is a training one." She'd made sure to get one with a dull edge and she'd gotten herself one to help Tia practice too. She held it toward Tia. "What do you think?" 	Tia's eyes lit up actually seeing the sword and she smiled bigger as she reached out for it. "This is so neat! I love it. My very own sword" She said as she held it in her hand. With a giggle she stood back and waved it around a little bit. "Arrg! Who goes there?" She asked, holding it up as she stood a defensive stance. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"And what is your business here on my ship?" Tia asked, covering her one eye like she had a patch on. She was so glad she was living with someone who was willing to play with her this way. It was so much fun. Lowering her hand so she could see again, the young alien clinked her sword against Torunn's once then she grinned as she looked up at her. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
