So far, it hadn't been a terrible day. Auror trainees were her order for the week - the class of 2031 was three weeks from graduation, and as such, had plenty to keep Lucy Weasley busy with. Duels, poison mishaps for the lower classes - one field accident involving some sort of dark object, but that had been a patch-up that she'd been ordered to hand off to the Healers at Mungo's. Since she'd had to apparate there anyway, she'd decided on lunch with her mother. They'd made it 20 minutes into that before the 'ping' from her Black Book had Lucy rushing a goodbye and hurrying off to the women's lockers to change.

She'd just put her hands on the door and shifted her weight to push through. A blink later, she was... definitely not among the various metal-doored sets of lockers she expected to see. Lucy stared around, then paused at the sight of a letter floating her way. That, at least, was normal. She glanced around a moment more as she fidgeted with the envelope, then moved closer to a wall out of the way to read the letter within. As her eyes scanned the short message, she let her free hand feel for her wand - good; wherever she was, that had come with her. Lucy read the message again, brows knit, then folded the letter and shoved it in the pocket of her denims while her eyes scanned... wherever she was. Right - Ostrich's Villa. The letter had told her apartment 6-D was hers, so she'd head there.

A short, mercilessly empty lift ride later, Lucy found the correct door and paused before she forced herself to knock. "Hullo? Anyone in?" She waited, noting that she'd have to check the cafeteria later, because whatever she'd had for lunch was clearly off or tampered with.

Lily was wallowing. She didn't care. She had a lot of feelings, and ice cream wasn't helping, and she didn't really know who to turn to. Uncle Bill had been the only one she'd told about the wedding and her fears surrounding that. He was the wrong age, but he knew, at least. She didn't want to burden her cousins or the other aunts and uncles with it all because they had enough to deal with, and they were all younger than she was. With the exception of Fleur, but Lily had never been close with her. And she couldn't go to her mum, who didn't even know Lily was hers.

Everyone was dealing with their own shite, and she didn't need to add to it. Which was probably how she ended up engaged to Claude in the first place, but that was neither here nor there. She didn't want to add to their piles, so she found herself in her living room half watching something on the telly while mindless scrolling through her phone and wearing a bear onsie. She should've been studying or prepping for another batch of potions, but she needed a bit of a mental break and some time to wallow.

The knock made her jump, and she had the door open before the voice registered. So when she saw her cousin's face, a few seconds passed before recognition hit. Once it did, she squealed and threw her arms around Lucy. "You're here! Where did you pop up? How'd you know I was here?" She pulled Lucy into the flat and towards the sofa. "Never mind. You probably have a hundred and one questions, so I just need you to answer one, then I can answer yours. What date was it this morning? Month, day, year."
